HOW TO GET INTO COMPETITIONS
-competitions is a great way to get further into bodyboarding, meet new friends, showing your potential, win wiked prizes, travel, and big time FUN!
Here are some tips on how to enter competitions:
-School comps: many schools take part in interschool surfing titles. this is a great way to start your self getting in them. if your shool does not do this ask them to join in and create a team.
-local bodyboarding clubs: these hold regular comps all year round. you meet new friends and have a great time
-PRO AM: PRO AM are comps that anyone can join. you may see professionals entering too. this is a huge event and loads of prizes can be won too.
- state rounds: surfing australia has organisations in each state. this is where you can enter the state rounds to compete for state champion and to get a place in the national bodyboading team in your division so you can compete against rest of australia!
